We all face the challenge of the emerging amount of information daily dumped on all of us and the challenge of having to provide an emerging amount of information and a number of documents in due time, in proper format, with all relevant and adequate content, and to all who need them, and only those who need them.
Arcanum Development worked out a document management methodology, comprising the building of document flows and workflows, as well as knowledge management solutions for serving the information needs of workflow-related applications.
In the course of our projects we analyze document-related processes, check document flows, we analyze information content of documents, and analyze security considerations, and rationalize document formats and document arrangement. As a further step, we rationalize the document flow in line with the information flow.
During these projects we provide consultation on workflow and documentation structure, analyze the information infrastructure and design the structure of the corporate portal. We develop a system for managing documentation, which enables storage of documents in a searchable and easily re-evaluable electronic form. Information is searchable, and the system supports workflows.
At the moment we have several running projects in document and knowledge management: for the European Patent Office, for Microsoft Hungary, and a Hungarian pharmaceutical firm.
